Finance Street

      The Finance Street was established in October, 2004. The Finance Street is located in central Beijing, to be exact, in the middle of southern part of Xicheng District. the Finance Street is divided into 25 neighborhood committees by 110 roads and lanes with a population of 40987 homesteads, 62097 residents and 1440 social units.The Finance Street is rich in its cultural traditions and its modern environment full of vigor. Its history can trace back to Qing Dynasty, at that time the Finance Street was called " Erlong Pit" for its terrible surroundings, rainwater and sewage were seen everywhere and the garbage were piled up. After the foundation of New China, the situation was fundamentally changed since the government fixed the road and established public service such as schools, hospitals, shops and so on.
